Why Is This $99 When Australian Agencies Charge $5,000?
Well, because we are not based in Australia. We are a web design outsourcing company based in India, which is why we can offer website design services at such dirt-cheap rates. However, we need to clarify one thing: our Australian pricing is real, and it is not a rort. Most Australian web design agencies tend to quote between $3,000 and $10,000 for a WordPress website. Even most Australian freelancers charge between $1,500 and $4,000 for a simple small business website. These figures include a team of four or five people working on your project on Australian soil, Sydney and Melbourne commercial rent, and Australian salaries. To be honest, no one is overcharging you. This is how the system works.
However, our cost base is different. We are based in India, and we build our websites with WordPress rather than coding them from scratch. Those two factors explain why we can offer the same end result for a fraction of the price. However, that does not mean that we are cutting corners when it comes to performance and quality. Yes, of course! You will own everything. You will have complete control of the domain, the files, the hosting account, the emails, and everything in between. You don’t have to sign any contract. You won’t even have to pay any monthly fee. This is a one-time fee. Most $99-per-month and $49-per-month website services that you come across on the web in Australia are usually advertised by agencies that want to keep you in a perpetual monthly payment cycle. But not us! We will build your website on WordPress, which means you can move your website to any host in the world whenever you want. You can also change your domain name registrant whenever you wish, without asking us.
What’s Actually Different About Building for an Australian Business
Your .com.au domain has to be registered by you, not by us. We can’t register your .com.au domain. It has to be registered by you. A .com.au domain can’t be registered by us since we are not based in Australia. As per auDA’s licensing rules, you need to have at least an active ABN or ACN to get a .com.au domain registered in your name. If an overseas designer claims that they will register it for you, they are just misleading you. We suggest buying the domain yourself so that it stays with you forever.
We don’t add GST to our invoices. Our invoices are issued without GST, and there will be no ABN since we are not based in Australia. Overseas suppliers are required to register for Australian GST only if their sales to Australian consumers exceed A$75,000 in a 12-month period. However, we are a small web design agency, and we are well below that threshold.

Is a $99 website a scam?
No, but you are right to ask. The catch is scope, not quality: you get a fixed, published WordPress package of up to 20 pages, not an open-ended custom build. The price is possible because our team is in India, we use WordPress rather than bespoke code, and the deliverables are defined up front. If a provider will not tell you plainly why their price is low, that is the one to be suspicious of.
Can I get a .com.au domain?
Yes, but you must register it yourself. A .com.au requires an Australian presence, typically an active ABN or ACN. No physical Australian address is needed. Register it in your business name before the build starts and it remains yours permanently, independent of us.
Will you charge me GST?
No. Overseas suppliers only register for Australian GST once sales to Australian consumers pass A$75,000 in twelve months, and supplies to GST-registered Australian businesses fall under the reverse charge instead. Our invoice shows no GST and no ABN. Check the treatment with your accountant.
How do I pay you?
In USD, by card or bank transfer. Your bank or card provider converts from AUD at their rate. We do not add a conversion fee.
What if something breaks after handover?
You own the site, so any developer can fix it. We offer maintenance separately if you want us to. There is no lock-in either way.
How many revisions do I get?
