    Stuck in the builder?

Why Owners Outgrow GoDaddy Website Builder

    On GoDaddy Website Builder

    • A builder plan that renews to keep the site up
    • No export at all, not even a backup file
    • Preset sections you cannot really restyle
    • Basic SEO fields and little speed control

    On WordPress

    • No builder fees, just hosting
    • A full site backup you can move anywhere
    • Any layout you want, designed in Elementor
    • Yoast SEO, schema and speed tools built in

    What we bring over

We Copy It by Hand, So Nothing Gets Lost

GoDaddy Website Builder, now part of GoDaddy Websites + Marketing, gets a small business online fast. The catch comes later: there is no export, the sections are fixed, and SEO options are thin. Moving to WordPress gives you a site you can grow and actually own.

    A manual move, done carefully

Because there is no export file, we copy your content by hand, whether your site was built in the classic editor or generated with Airo. Then we rebuild it in Elementor with a cleaner, faster design.

Your domain and email stay put

    • Keep your domain at GoDaddy if you like. We only update its DNS.
    • Email keeps working, because we leave your MX records alone.
    • SSL is set up on the new site before launch.

    Choose your hosting

Stay with GoDaddy Managed WordPress hosting, or pick Hostinger, Bluehost or our own hosting for a small fee. We connect whichever you choose.

    Selling online?

A GoDaddy Online Store moves to WooCommerce, which takes more work, so we quote it before starting.

    The GoDaddy switch

Out of GoDaddy Website Builder in 4 Steps

    01

    03

    Set up redirects

Each old page URL is redirected, and every form gets a test message.

    04

    Update the DNS

We point the domain to WordPress and leave your email records alone.

No. GoDaddy Websites + Marketing has no export or download option. The only way to move is to copy the content and rebuild the site, which is what we do for you.

From $99, paid once. If you run a GoDaddy Online Store or appointment booking, we quote the extra work before starting.

No. We only change the DNS records for your website. Your MX records, which handle email, stay exactly as they are.

Yes. Your domain can stay at GoDaddy. We just point its DNS to the new WordPress site.

You can. It works well, and so do Hostinger and Bluehost. We can also host the site for you for a small fee.

We redirect your old page URLs, set proper titles and descriptions, and submit a new sitemap. That protects what you have, though no one can guarantee rankings after any move.
